  • Started as a scrub hand on a horizontal drilling rig moved my way up to the motor man position, where I kept the crew members lined out with work.
  • I kept inventory of all the parts and also give parts list to the tool pusher when needed.
  • I made scheduled rounds on the rig every 30 minutes, and addressed any issues that needed my attention.
  • Daily morning Per tower and evening Post tower safety meetings.
  • All (JSA) worksheets signed and dated by all hand involved on site before the task was preformed.

  • Obtained my skills in leadership as a supervisor, and from working with all groups of construction, demolition, surveying, trucking, and equipment operators I became a much better team player.

  • Started as a laborer and equipment operator where my duties included, maintenance on all equipment on the job site as well as laying out holes for drilling and blasting, the loading and unloading of blasting materials on site and at the shop out of our powder magazines.
  • I run all equipment on the job site as lead operator, starting with drilling, I would run rotary drills and hammer drills of all different makes and styles from enclosed cab to standing by the mast on a platform , drilling holes anywhere from 3.5" to 6.75" in diameter and depths ranging from 10' to 70'.
  • I would run excavators, dozer's, haul trucks, pans, compactors, and any piece of equipment that was involved in the moving of earth.
  • I soon was moved to a job that was short handed were I took the role of supervisor, we where a 5 man crew not including the blaster, they where mostly contracted in from another company.
