An FRG Leader is the Leader of an Army Family Readiness Group. I was in charge of the families both at Bragg & back home. I ran the FRG through 3 deployments. I worked with the Rear Detachment Commander to keep the families up to date. We had monthly meetings & I put out a newsletter for all family members. I was given a medal for my work in April of 2004.
When we were stationed at Ft Campbell, KY I served as the Treasure for the FRG. I worked with the Army Liaison & our FRG Leader to keep record of all money taken in & spent. I also made deposits from fundraisers. I continued my work with the FRG, until I became my son's Den Leader.
