Manages a team of up EHS Engineers in the audit and inspection of all locations evaluating hazards within the facility for safety, health, and environmental risks. Develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Manage the investigation of incidents for locations and personnel within regions assigned. Take a leadership role in the implementation of all EHS policies and procedures, including updating existing and developing new ones as needed due to regulatory changes, as well as changes in company policies Assist locations in the creation of local safety committees. Organize and manage regional virtual committees and report on progress. Management and oversight in the development and implementation of health and safety procedures and programs for all locations assigned and monitors safety compliance to reduce risks. Manage environmental processes to assure proper compliance with hazard waste disposal (RCRA & TSCA), pollution control (Clean Air Act), spill containment and cleanup, and ground water management (Clean Water Act) management. Provide EHS consultation and information to support all company EHS efforts. Work cooperatively with all levels of management on EHS related issues as necessary. Manage the collection and recordkeeping of EHS statistics for locations assigned. Working with management, analyze trends, manage non-compliance, and determine actions to be taken. Responsible for the collection and entry of data for Corporate Sustainability reporting. Participation in budget preparation and tracking, establishing, and monitoring progress toward department goals.
