Professional Summary

I began working my junior year summer in high school and immediately loved the freedom having my own income gave me. At the same time I was developing a love for art and how it gives students a creative outlet. Additionally, ever since fifth grade I've wanted to be a teacher, and the teacher I was an aide for asked me if I've ever considered becoming an art teacher. After much consideration and research I decided becoming an art teacher would be both enjoyable and productive, so I changed my plan to major in art education in college.

In addition, I believe it is important for all students to have a creative outlet. Whether they use music, art or sports, I believe it is extremely important for a student to discover their niche young so they can continue to use it and build on it throughout their lives.
