Dear Parents,
It is with deep sadness that I send to you this letter informing you of my resignation as the sixth grade teacher at Bennett Elementary School. The many years I have spent teaching your children have been the most rewarding of my life, but now I must focus on my health and attempt to fight the condition that has afflicted my body.
Your children were all a joy to teach and their interactive interest in the classroom made the days and years fly by. But as fast as the years seemed to go by, I still retain many wonderful memories from my years.
The school district was kind enough to allow me to choose my successor and I have chosen Ms. Adrienne Gold as your children’s new teacher. Many of your children already know Ms. Gold and have had her in the fourth grade. Ms. Gold has always expressed an interest in teaching the sixth grade and she was more than anxious to take on the opportunity.
