Some of the most important skills an electronics engineer will need include an eye for detail, creativity, oral and written communication, leadership, and ability to work as part of a team. In most companies, an engineer will need either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering technology or a related field to even receive consideration. You may also need to pass a fundamentals of engineering exam to work at a certain business.
While someone is still in school, it is good to start gaining experiences by taking an internship. This internship should supplement your education, and it is a good way to pad your resume when the time comes to apply for jobs. Even entry-level engineering positions will require some experience, so you should adequately prepare while you are still in school.
