Cruise Line Launches Webisode Series for New Ship

Royal Caribbean International has unveiled a weekly online web series counting down to the launch of their newest ship, Oasis of the Sea, which they call the "most innovative cruise ship ever to set sail."
The weekly webisodes will go over every aspect of the ship, from design and architecture, the planning of guest services and more.

According to the company, Oasis of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship in the world. It is planned for 16 decks and a capacity of 5,400 passengers at double occupancy in 2,700 staterooms. The ship encompasses 220,000 gross registered tons and is planned to launch in December 2009.

The travel and entertainment industry is going high tech, and Royal Caribbean is also featuring a blog by the chairman of the company, a multimedia image gallery and even a Twitter account discussing Oasis of the Seas and her sister ship, Allure of the Seas, which is planned for launch in the fall of 2010. They even have an online radio show which airs Fridays at 2pm EDT.
