Entrepreneurship Gets Boost From Government

Small businesses are eligible for government loans
The federal government's attempts to stimulate the struggling economy have produced some limited, but discernible benefits, but not as much as hoped.

With a murky economic future still ahead, reports continue of many of the jobless turning to entrepreneurship to find their own way forward, opting to create the jobs they cannot expect someone else to give them.

In this scenario, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is continuing its own attempts to help these entrepreneurs and small business owners who form much of the backbone of the economy.

"The president is saying we have to make sure that we are getting all of the aspects of the Recovery Act into the hands of small businesses," Karen Mills, head of the SBA, told CNNMoney. "I want to make sure people understand our level of commitment in this. Not a day goes by in the White House that we don't think about small business."

The SBA is offering entrepreneurs and business owners favorable loans through partnerships with banks in order to try and help them through the rough patch ahead. The loans are geared to allow businesses to pay them back as times get good again.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19305655-ADNFCR
