Of those with a business background, many have hopes of becoming an entrepreneur. Creating a business that could result in multiple opportunities and ventures could be a very lucrative career. Many people are also drawn to the large paychecks that come with a successful entrepreneurial endeavor. Those interested in an entrepreneurial career may want to consider relocation to Nevada, as a new report from the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council) named the state the most entrepreneur-friendly for the West Coast. According to the Council, part of Nevada's appeal is the low workers' compensation fees and lack of corporate or personal income tax policies. The Nevada Development Authority (NDA) is happy with the results, stating that the findings prove what many residents already knew. "This index proves what entrepreneurs and business owners in Southern Nevada have known for years -- that overall Las Vegas has the best business climate in the U.S.," Somer Hollingsworth, president of NDA, said in a statement. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, being CEO of a self-made company could lead to a 6-figure salary. |
