For some job seekers, the high unemployment rate has provided a unique opportunity for them to enhance their skills by going back to school.

But there are a lot of variables involved with such as a process, according to some career analysts.

Brenda Harms is a consultant at Stamats, a company that researches higher education trends, and told the Des Moines Register that adults who go back to school have different priorities than 20-year-olds entering college for the first time.

"Adults tend to look for cost, convenience and flexibility," Harms said.
Flexibility may be an important aspect for those who are currently employed or who have a busy schedule.

Many colleges and universities offer online courses in various subjects, allowing students to earn a degree from the comfort of their home. This also allows these students to function on their timetable.

Specifically, online MBA programs are known for being very comprehensive and convenient for people. However, even within online classes, there are some that stand out such as ones that offer chat rooms among other students and personal online time with the professor.

These cyber interactions can prove beneficial for people who learn better through lively discussions as opposed to constantly studying out of a text.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19292518-ADNFCR
