University of Iowa Law School Offers Health Care Reform Law Class

With the new health care reform set to take effect later this fall, many industries are trying to figure out the implications of the new law. One university is offering a class that will attempt to unravel and examine the effects of the health care reform on the law sector.

The Health Law Colloquium, offered at the University of Iowa College of Law will be held every Thursday starting August 26 through December 2, according to the university's website. There will also be a live streaming of the class online, for those distance learners who are interested in the subject.

The class will delve deep into the legal issues that are presented within the new health care policy, drawing on knowledge from professors and experts from the university and beyond. Students will look at the law from many legal perspectives, such as economics, human rights, anti-trust, insurance, employment and constitutional, according to the university.
