Individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in law may want to familiarize themselves in market values and investment opportunities if they are interested in corporate mergers and acquisitions.

"Lawyers should be able to advise the seller on the pros and cons of stock sales versus asset sales, and the nature of the seller's representations and warranties that will be expected by buyers," lawyer Harry Styron told the Times.
