Psychology is one of the most popular degree choices for people in college and it comes as no surprise since the field offers people plenty of opportunities to explore different fields. Psychologists from around the world often work with each other in order to discuss new trends and continue their education of the subeject.

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) is hosting the 68th Annual International Council of Psychologists (ICP) Conference this week, which is expected to bring psychologists together for workshops and discussions.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to be working with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology as our secretariat and host of this year’s annual conference,” said Dr. Ann O’Roark, president of ICP. “The school’s commitment to teaching skills that prepare students to work effectively with people from diverse cultures, backgrounds and perspectives aligns well with our mission to advance psychology by strengthening international bonds between psychologists.”

Students and professional psychologists were invited to attend the conference that will feature workshops highlighting multicultural family therapy, psychological values around the world and psychologists as humanitarian interventionists.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of psychologists is expected to increase by 12% through 2018.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19920661-ADNFCR
