Job seekers should be prepared to answer questions about why they think they would be suited to a position and where they think they will be in a decade's time at an interview. At least this is if billionaire businessman Allen Stanford is conducting it. The 58-year-old, who was recently named as one of the top 400 richest Americans by Forbes magazine, explained to the publication which questions potential employees should expect him to put to them. "Tell me about yourself and why you are suited for the job," would be the first thing he would ask, while the last would be: "Where do you want to be in five years and ten years?" He added that he would also repeat the question about job suitability. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in preparing for an interview people, even those preparing for careers in computing, should conduct research into the organization and be mindful of what job they wish to do and what qualifications they have to do it. |
