Sometimes the inspiration to return to school as part of the beginning stages for a career in business can come in the most unlikely of places.

While there are news reports about the benefits of getting an MBA or taking management courses, some fans of HBO's original series Entourage may have gotten a boost from a plotline involving one of the characters named Turtle.

The show, which is about a Hollywood movie star maneuvering his fame with three of his best friends from home, recently entered its sixth season and depicted Turtle as going through some life changes.

Since the beginning he has lived off his friend, movie star Vincent Chase, and lived in his house. In the most recent episode, Turtle announced he wanted to make something of himself and declared at the end of the episode that he was entering a business management program to get his life on track.

Though a fictional show, the idea of changing one's life through business school is a real one with many enrolling in management classes looking to join the industry or opening their own business.

In 2007, there were 27.2 million businesses in the U.S., according to estimates from the Office of Advocacy.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19292478-ADNFCR
