The ultimate goal of many in the business field is to prove they are capable of managing their company while staying ahead of the often unpredictable changes in the economy. Businessmen and women need to exhibit both their creative and competitive spirits to succeed in their aggressive industry. By becoming indoctrinated with these skills, many in the field may find that the talents they developed in the business world allow for deftness in other fields later in life. John Tafaro, who began his professional career in 1977 at a sales agency, has become the president of Chatfield College in St Martin, Ohio. Chatfield is a career school - a topic on which the new president is well-versed. After leaving his initial sales job, Tafaro continued to develop his business skills, running companies like Beechmont Optical, Select-A-Seat and Buddy's Carpet in flooring from the 1980s until 2005. He then became a partner at a law firm and tough business courses at Tiffin University. Now a college president, Tafaro admits that his business background helps him with many of his new responsibilities such as raising money and marketing the school. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the employment of education administrators is expected to grow by 12% between by 2016. |
