For working professionals, finding the time to complete a postsecondary degree can be a challenge, but the additional education on a resume can help with career advancement in the business world.

Adirondack Community College (ACC) in Queensbury, New York, has announced that it will begin offering a business degree program entirely available online starting next fall called BusinessPass, according to the Post Star.

The school will also be working in partnership with Empire State College for students who want to continue on with their education after completing the business administration program at ACC.

Mark Parfitt, ACC's director of community relations, said that the students who are busy working will also have the option of choosing any combination of online and on-campus courses to create their own flexible BusinessPass schedule.

"Online courses fit the needs of people who are not able to travel on campus during the day or during the evening, depending on their work schedule - their family schedule," Parfitt noted.

The program will include course in marketing, hospitality and accounting.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that job opportunities for business administrative managers are expected to grow by 12% through 2018.
