Although accountants are busy throughout the year with various family planning and business ventures, tax season remains one of the most popular times when their services are needed. Because accountants are usually reserved for wealthier individuals who can afford their pension on a year-round basis, the majority of the year remains slower for the professionals, compared to the period from February 1st to April 15th.

Tax season has officially kicked off, and many Americans are wondering how to properly file their claims. According to the Wall Street Journal, accountants say it's better for individuals to get their taxes done sooner rather than waiting until the last minute.

"There have been many important changes in the tax laws," accountant Sidney Kess told the news provider. "So it's dangerous to rely on what you did on your return last year. Although it might work out, you could miss some important new points."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the accounting profession is supposed to increase by 22% by 2018.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19599021-ADNFCR
