While many designers have a similar theme, the top-tiers are usually able to diversify their designs enough to develop their own following. Fashion Week, which designers from all around the world prepare for in their respective locations, is a way to showcase what innovative ideas they have come up with. As New York Fashion Week draws to a close, the entire fashion industry has had their eyes on the models walking the catwalk for the newest trends for Fall 2010, according to The Associated Press. Although black and layered patterns were prevalent on all of the major runways, designers had to put their own spin on their collections to make them stand out from the pack. Because Fashion Week sets the standards for how people will dress for upcoming seasons, individuals who are interested in careers in fashion should try and study the inner workings into what it takes to launch a successful collection.
