In recent years, technology has taken off in full force with the majority of individuals turning to the internet for all of their needs. Additionally, blogging has become a phenomenon in the World Wide Web, with everyone from large corporations to freelance writers getting in on the action. For some stay-at-home moms, blogging can be a useful way to pass the time - it can also be a way to make money.

A number of stay-at-home mothers have taken to blogging and found it to be a lucrative profession, according to The New York Times. Tiffany Romero and Heather Blair, who are the founders of Secret is in the Sauce, a popular website that supports female bloggers, have started Bloggy Boot Camp, where women - 90% of them mothers - learn how to properly market themselves to potential viewers.

Some mothers have gone so far as to land deals with large corporations, who pay the women to serve as writers on their own blogs.
