Everyone loves the funny pages in the Sunday newspaper, and if you are looking for a job in the art industry, they may be the key to an entertaining and fulfilling career.

According to Comics.GearLive.com, there are plenty of jobs in the comic industry, ranging from teaching jobs, design jobs and even marketing.

The Art Center Design College in Arizona is currently looking for someone to teach a class about the literature of comic books, according to the news source. Not only does this allow art enthusiasts to study and teach about a something that they have experience with.

Another comic strip syndicate is looking to hire people in their marketing department. The unnamed company is searching for people who know and appreciate the ins and outs of the art world and who are comfortable using social media sites for promotional purposes.

The art industry is currently going through many changes, especially with the accessibility of the internet and use of computers. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of artists is expected to increase 12% through 2018.
