Fashion is an integral part of any culture for it explains a great deal about people, their preferences and overarching social mores. While some choose to follow fashion trends, it can be curious to see how the artists in the fashion design world construct clothes that reflect either past traditions or modern attitudes.

Despite the fact that more Americans are trying to watch their spending, the fashion industry continues to thrive, a sentiment expressed by Bravo TV's fashion-based reality shows. Recently, the first season of Fashion Design ended and now the network is set to introduce Launch My Lineup.

This reality show aims to put 10 design professionals with 10 actual designers, where the professionals compete for money and the aspiring designers are working towards the chance to start their own clothing line.

Media sources report that Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 will be hosting the new show, set to start in mid-August.

Those looking for a career in fashion design should be pleased to note that the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that in 2008, the top 10% of those in this field earned $124,780 per year. ADNFCR-1502-ID-19292386-ADNFCR
