 Ask a Hiring Manager What Your Hobbies Interests Say About You

The "skills" section of a standard professional resume gives applicants a place to list skillsets and capabilities that aren't mentioned under the earlier "work history" or "education" subheadings. This section also allows applicants to list any non-career related accomplishments that may be of interest to potential employers, anything from musical talents to artistic achievements to sports victories. If you've dedicated years of your life to the pursuit of your Olympic medal or your series of award-winning children's books, these things can and should be weighed alongside all of your professional milestones.
