Coordinated all summer school programs for credit deficient students, i.e., Algebra I, geometry and algebra II. This included scheduling classrooms that would be available in the summer, filling the teaching positions, and compiling a list of students who would benefit from these classes such as students who had taken the class before and failed, students who needed a refresher course before taking the next level in the fall, students who would benefit from a more one-on-one environment, etc. I would also compile a spreadsheet of the successes for each class and distribute to the principal and guidance counselor so appropriate credit would be received on each student's transcripts. The success rate of this program was very high.
My duties with the State Police include transcribe detective/suspect interviews, compile data regarding the violent crimes that the Major Case Detective Bureau handles. Enter, compile and cross reference information into the Michigan State Police Automated Incident Capture System (AICS) as well as Flint Police Department's AEGIS system and distribute as advised.
Type Pre-sentence investigation reports for the Court, answer phones, type violation of probation reports, assist offenders and any added duties. Within two months at this position, I was asked to cover for the secretary at the front desk when she would leave for the day. My duties at this position included typing probation orders, answering phones, assisting police with information that was in the OMNI system and assisting the public.
