I have experience in the flux core procedures, aluminum mig and tig welding , regular hard wire and stainless wire also. I am a united states army mechanic and very talented with my hands and a very fast learner.
It was my responsibility to build and/or fabricate parts for overhead cranes according to blueprints. I also welded numerous butt joint fit-ups according to the prints and to testing procedure's. I would fabricate parts on the fly if prints were not furnished and also provide some pmcs duties on company trucks and fork lifts. Most welding was done in either vertical up, overhead or flat positions.
It was my duty to assemble and weld pipe to manufactures specifications and to company standards. Be able to weld pipes and other components with the capabilities of not leaking on an underwater pressure test and also pass a visual inspection.
I built containers according to blueprints from the ground up and fabricated them all the way to paint. I also worked with engineers on developing new style containers for customers to which they could withstand numerous drop test with designated amounts of weight inside of them. Also all containers had to be air tight so that they would not leak.
I was taught in all styles of welding from stick to tig welding. We also went threw cutting torches and plama cutting to grinding safety and proper cylinder handling
