Hard working mechanic with hands-on experience in preventive maintenance , electrical problem solving as well as mechanical problem solving. I have four years of diesel mechanic in the USMC. I have experience in reading wiring diagrams and I have my own tools.
As an operator I'm tasked with checking equipment through out plant to ensure proper operation. Also tasked with preventive maintance on equipment in plant . Plant equipment consist of pumps, valves, motors, mixers , an actuators. Tasked involved with these are changing oil, open-close of valves , amp check of motors and mixers. Also checking limit settings of actuators. For corrective maintance task include troubleshooting; mechanically an electrically pumps, motors mixers an actuators.
Task involved plant checks every four hrs. as well as preventive maintance on equipment through out plant during a 12 hr. shift. Also collect water samples to test to ensure with in state and federal standards.
I had six months of Mechanics school identifying problems with mechanical an electrical issues with a variety of military vehicles. After this training I was 1 of 3 people selected from my class to attend two months training on hydraulic system for different vehicles that the military uses. Once in the fleet I was tasked with everything from preventive maintance all the way to corrective maintance excluding pulling motors due to our shop was not equip to do that.

For electives during the four yrs in High School took the automotive class all four yrs.
