As I continue towards a Bachelor's degree in finance I look to gain experience through working in a field related to my field of study. I am proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. I also have experience with Google Docs and other online applications. Working in the financial world would help me get a better understanding as to what I am learning and working towards.
My responsibilities at Tri-Pro vary greatly. There is no boss in the warehouse so everything falls upon the workers. The responsibilities are as follows; pick orders, set up all logistical aspects, handle all paper work and file correctly, obtain freight pricing, make boxes and coolers, produce kits that Tri-Pro sells, keep record of inventory and general cleanup.
My responsibilities during my time at Fabick were simple warehouse duties. I picked orders, did cleanup and maintained order in my personal workspace. I also packaged and sorted orders for delivery, counted inventory and also dealt with a lot of customer service. While working there I was involved in rearranging some of the warehouse due to their remodeling. I did not stay long due to a greater opportunity that was placed in front of me.
During this time I was a maintenance worker for two St. Louis County parks. My responsibilities were to make sure each park was presentable to not only my peers, but also the public. Responsibilities included trash pick-up, cutting and trimming grass, tree work, picnic table repair, tractor maintenance, playground maintenance, flood cleanup and other clean up jobs that fell within the county lines. During my time as a maintenance worker I was involved in starting and reopening a couple of trails within the county and also was a part of “Operation Clean Stream” on the Meramec River.
