I absolutely love my job. I am excited to work as a waitress and I take that excitement and energy with me to work everyday. I have worked at HugHes Cafe since I was in High school and continue to come back to work during college breaks. This last year I drove down from Logan every night, where I attended college, to work my shifts. I feel that Maddox has a very similar energy to the Cafe and I would feel comfortable and fit in really well. I have created meaningful connections to my customers and never work a shift without a request from a customer to sit in my section. I take the job very seriously and know that as a waitress you are a reflection of the restaurant and I take pride in how I have represented the restaurants I have worked for. I am asked by the owner and manager to serve the parties/bigger groups as I have proven my skills in the past, and do a good job in those situations. I am a hard worker and make the time to work the shifts needed and am flexible with my schedule.
At RISE I worked very hands on with people with Special Needs/Disabilities. I worked in three different group homes where no more than five clients lived in each house. I would go into each shift excited and grateful for the day and my most rewarding job. I did a lot for these individuals for the health and happiness, but they did a lot more for me. They changed my life.
