Entrepreneurial & Executive Career in Business
Mr. Kelley is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate and franchise organizations; as well as entrepreneurial endeavors. During his career, Mr. Kelley has held executive positions in publically and privately held companies, including as CEO, COO, CFO, VP Operations, Director of Business Development and Director of M & A.
Mr. Kelley has developed company owned and franchise operated service operations throughout the United States and abroad; overseen the consolidation of industry competitors in targeted niches thru strategic mergers & acquisitions and/or partnerships; managed transfers of excellence & branding strategies for newly merged entities, and blended joined cultures into a dynamic, synergistic and energetic environment. Mr. Kelley has implemented system expansion thru organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including for development of company operated and franchised units. Experienced in capital raising, system-wide real estate acquisition and development, licensing, marketing and advertising program roll-outs; as well as working with Boards on developing and executing strategic initiatives.
Kelley was one of the original 2 persons for launching Jiffy Lube International ("Jiffy Lube"), initiated by acquiring seven (7) locations from its originator.
Jiffy Lube is recognized today as one of America's largest automotive service chains.
Under a Board-directed personal development plan, Mr.
Kelley was materially involved in all facets of the Company's five (5) Divisions, each operated within P & L and ROI objectives - including: Franchising, Company Owned Operations, National Purchasing & Distribution, Real Estate Development & the Company's Finance Division (allocated investment capital and financing to each of the Company's four (4) other Divisions).
Kelley was a Board member and personal confident of the Company's Chairman during the system's ascension to the top of the automotive services industry.
During his years with Jiffy Lube, he was instrumental in growing the Company into 1,200 units until its sale to a major oil company.
Today Jiffy Lube operates 2,500 units and generates billions of dollars in system revenues.

Together with his wife Cynthia, has advocated for the welfare and treatment of the mentally ill for over a decade.
Ed has provided testimony for supporting change in the Mental Health System in the State of Maryland and in the United States Congress; while his wife, Cynthia, has served on multiple Mental Health Advocacy Boards.
