My experiences in football have been, playing the game since I was in 5th grade through High School. I then played at the college level and have now continued on to semi-professional football, playing 2 years for the Chippewa Valley Predators in Wisconsin.
Although playing football is my passion, coaching has always been my goal. With that always in mind, I not only played my positions to the fullest, I also opened myself to learning all the different positions and was aware of the coaching techniques that worked and the coaching techniques that did not work. I have coached for the Princeton Middle School Football Program in Minnesota as a Defensive Coordinator and for the Lake Holcomb/Cornell High School Varsity Program in Wisconsin as a WR/DB Position Coach, as well as being the Junior Varsity Head Coach.
I feel that school sports are a relationship between the Student, the Coach and the Parents. Therefore I take great pride, that after each year of coaching, I have received positive recognition from other staff members, the athletes themselves and even more importantly the parents. I was requested by parents to organize football camps, specifically under my direction, to help continue building their children's skills.
My age and experience allows me an advantage to connect quickly with the players and to guide them to their full potential as an athlete. I have the utmost confidence in my ability to demonstrate leadership that will benefit the players as well as the school.
For the Varsity program I was the Wide Reciever and Defensive Back skills coach, also on game days I was in the box providing feedback and opions to the Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator and the Defensive Coordinator. Other than those responsibilities, I was also the Junior Varsity Head coach and Offensive Coordinator.
I was the Defensive Coordinator which consisted of coaching the fundamentals of defensive play and defensive play calling on game day.
Took Professional Personal Training courses to further my knowledge of the human body and how to get the maximum performance out of it. I took these courses with the intent to also use the knowledge to further myself as a coach.
Due to a football injury, that put me in the hospital for 7 days and bed ridden for a month, my college career was cut short and I returned to Minnesota.
