This job included using a company van to go out to hydraulic fracturing well sites and repairing equipment as it needed. Mainly, to repair a pump or blender a board replacement was used such as a PLC or HMI. Sometimes the E-Tech is required to reboot the computer system if needed.
Another requirement was PMs, which was basically to make sure the pumps and blenders were in working order before they were taken out to the wells.
This job was mainly repairing and testing drives used in automation. Some equipment used were voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes. In house computer programs were used to run the drives to either test new ones or repaired ones.
Occasional assembly of the drives were required if needed.
Environmental chambers were used to run the drives on a 24-hour test.
This job included production and repair. The product was portable defibrillators and their accompanying monitors and battery packs. The belts would need torn apart and new boards and foams added. The monitors would need repaired or if new they would need tested.
