On my arrival into the U.S.A. I performed duties as a customer service representative with U-Haul trucking company from August 2010 to March 2013, after that I was a skilled certified nursing assistant from November 2011 to October 2016,during which time, I gained extensive experience working with elderly,hospice,trachea as well as patients needing physical and occupational therapy ,assisting with their daily needs. I then transferred and presently performing duties as a Unit Clerk at the same facility. Prior to coming to these United States of America; I served as a police officer for twenty plus years where I obtained extensive experience interacting in every area of the public.
I was responsible for assisting ten to fourteen residents in daily living activities.I assist with bathing,dressing,feeding,vital signs,documenting,ambulation and monitoring. I also assisted with setting up clinical appointments and accompanying them to it.On diverse occasions I was highly commended by management for punctuality,consistency and going beyond,by staying over in snow storms and showing to work in adverse weather conditions.
Presently I am an active member of the men department of St Paul's Pentecostal Church, at 133 Thomas S. Boyland street Brooklyn N.Y; where I am also the treasurer. We are responsible for setting up and completing projects that enhances and develop the church. One of our responsibilities are to mentor the youth department members, with a view of streamlining them into the correct pathway.
