My background experiences include 4-H stewardship with the Jefferson County Forest Service. I have community service hours completed with Jefferson Transit, providing public information during busy work hours in the community such as wooden boat festival. I have also provided a (seasonal) lawn mowing service for up four-five clients. I have been an assistant helper in my mom's licensed child care facility, also bussed at Fins Coastal Cuisine summer of 2013. Three years of high school sports, participated in band class for six years, tutor and teachers assistant for the High school special needs program, completed course for first aid and C.P.R (infant, child and adult) and successful lawn care business, food handler permit.
From being a Tutor/Mentor I need to have patience, be tolerant, and be confident and competent in everything I do. Kindness, encouragement, and sensitivity are all qualities that come with this job.
As a busser I learned the importance of working in a timely fashion, customer service, cleanliness, and bringing a happy atmosphere to work every day, and a neat, clean, professional appearance.
Clearing trails, picking up trash, restoring natural habitats, following explicit directions and learning about becoming a steward of the environment. Gained skills such as teamwork, responsibility, accountability, and the importance of being a valuable employee.
My academic passions include tutoring for the special needs program, performing arts such as school band as well as private lessons and independent music groups, media arts including video productions and am currently enrolled in an advanced media independent study course
