OBJECTIVE: To obtain a co-op position within the field of Biomedical engineering (6/23/14 -12/12/14)
Visited CMC hospital and K.J hospital, Chennai as a part of our college curriculum and acquired knowledge of real time problem solving performed by medical devices.
Participated in an event called sixth sense which tested the ability of the participants for designing sensors which can sense similar to the 5 senses of the human body.
Participated in a 2 day workshop on instrumentation techniques which provided a strong theoretical and practical grounding in the principles of analytical chemistry including instrumental analytical techniques such as UV- spectrophotometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, powder x-ray diffraction.
Won best debutant award at g20 council held at VIT University.
Got 1st prize for my circuit design in event circuit enigma held at gravitas 2010.

Project was part of course medical instrumentation 2 Basic pacemaker circuit was designed using the astable mode of NE555 IC My role in 3 member team was to assemble and construct the circuit Low cost external exoskeleton for construction workers.
I was part of a team of 4 members My role in the team was to come up with the design and improve aesthetic value of the device A prototype of the external exoskeleton was constructed This relieves the pressure exerted on the spinal cord of the laborer's Hearing Aid.
I was part of 2 member team and we successfully constructed the prototype of the device This low-cost, general-purpose electronic hearing aid works off 3V DC (2×1.5V battery) Transistor and associated components form the audio signal preamplifier for the acoustic signals picked up by the condenser microphone and converted into corresponding electrical signals Urine level indicator alarm.
Successfully designed and built the prototype It uses a ne555 IC circuit to trigger an alarm when the urine bag gets full.
This project was aimed to reduce the stress of work on hospital workers and its low cost and easy construction was its advantages.
Glucose bottle empty device using led and ldr.
Part of a 2 member team A prototype was designed and constructed It uses a light detector circuit for triggering the buzzer when the glucose bottle becomes empty.
It can be used in hospitals for monitoring purpose.
A proximity sensor was built using IC555 and a LDR.
The output of the IC is connected to a potentiometer which is further connected to a LED.
So, whenever there is darkness in the room the LDR resistance increases which produces a high signal at the output.
