I feel like I have a great deal of experience with customer service, every job that I have ever had I have dealt with the public. It's definitely not the easiest to deal with the public, it takes skills and patience to do so. In the last four years I have worked at a bank, so I feel very comfortable in an office environment. I think I would be a great asset to any job because I like being around people, I feel like I can fit in with any group, I have patience, I am a determined individual who knows it takes hard work to complete any task. I am always willing to learn new things and to improve, I like to be a leader but also know when to follow another persons lead and when to ask for help in order to complete a task. Team work is important in any job environment. I also am a single mother to my five year old son so doing whatever I need to do in order to care for him is very important to me, which is why I do take my jobs so seriously and will do whatever I can to improve in my employment and make the best of every situation.
I am a very organized person and like to get the most work done in any given amount of time. I think that time management is a very important quality. I am always up for a challenge and I like to keep as busy as possible. I am always willing to learn new things and willing to help others complete a job with any spare time I may have.
I have been employed here for almost four years and I have learned many new things. Some of my duties have included working with the ATM, debit cards, online banking, I deal with customers everyday and doing their transactions come first, I have experience with scanning important documents, filing documents, I also have put together customer files, I deal with large amounts of money on a daily basis, answer phones calls, transfer phone calls, take important messages and I also open and close the bank. There are also other tasks that other departments need help on at times and I always help them with any spare time.
My main responsibilities were waiting on tables, cleaning, hosting, answering phones, running the register, and also opening and closing the restaurant.
I had many responsibilities here I worked in both the deli and behind the gas desk. Some job duties included, cleaning and stocking the store and coolers, cleaning, cooking, customer service, answering phones, running the registers, training new employees, counting down cash registers, making change orders for the bank, doing nightly paperwork, and preparing money night drops. I worked here the entire time I was pregnant and returned after six weeks of having my son but then wanted to work closer to home in case something happened to him so i put in my two weeks notice and found a job closer to home.
This was a phone and satellite radio store in the truck stop in Rochelle, my main job duties were to sell the products, open and close the store, prepare and drop off night deposits at the bank, answer phones, and a lot of customer service. This was my first sales job and I liked it a lot but I didn't meet my sales quota my last month so I was let go. I found it a little difficult to find people to purchase a lot of the products since most were truck drivers and already had a lot of these products.
I have completed all the requirements for this Associates degree but I can't officially graduate until I complete my graduation portfolio and the next turn in date isn't until July of this year so that is what I'm currently working on. I have taken a few computer classes along with an Anatomy class, human biology class, and a medical terminology class.
