After recently being seperated from the military, I have been looking for a job that I am good at, and that I can enjoy while making it a career instead of just a job.
I have worked at Ace Hardware, Maverik Gas Station, and I was also an Installation Tech for Cierra Communications installing cable.
The only accomplishment that I have is finishing the military as I had planned.
I'm still young and plan on accomplishing much in my future!
As a cable installation tech, I climbed telephone poles, ran new calbe lines, crawled in crawl spaces and attics, drilled holes, plugged old holes, fixed issues with T.V.'s, internet and telephones.
I also installed phone lines, internet services and Cable T.V. services along with fixing grounding issues or issues from the previous technitian.
As an adventure guide, I counted money, put it in the safe, ran the register, cleaned Ice Cream machines, stocked shelves, cleaned store (sweep and mop, take out trash, throw away old foods from display at the kitchen, clean bathrooms), and attempted to make better sales to customers.
I also advised and directed customers to proper products, checked Identification if the customer wanted tobacco/alcohol products.
At Ace Hardware, I received truckloads of products, took inventory of truckloads, stocked shelves, advised and directed customers to proper products, cleaned the store, cut wood at certain requested lengths, made key copies, retreived pre-ordered products from truck shipments and helped customers bring purchased goods to vehilces in the parking lot.
As a Cavalry Scout in the Army, I trained for deployment, cleaned offices and bathrooms (to include, sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing toilets, taking out trash cleaning mirrors and windows, and picking up/moving desks, chairs, tables and bookshelves), washed and maintained military vehicles, mowed lawns, pulled weeds and picked up random trash while in garrison.
During my deployment, I practiced running missions with my teammates, locate and report enemy locations and activities. I was also on a Quick Response team to rescue survivors of shot down/crashed helicopter teams.
This school was not a GRADE A school, so when I went to the military, I was required to get a GED through the Army Prepatory School program.
