In 2009 I retired from National Grid after 31 years as aTeam leader working in their Waltham Call Center.
Since then I have worked part time in the Recovery field at different organizations with diverse client populations in one on one settings and in group settings.
I bring 23 years of personal experience working in Recovery.

I chart and record information in the clients files . Track clients movement on and off the unit by documenting time and destination. Check facility for open windows,locked doors. Quickly respond to crisis situations when mental health and behavioral issues arise. Refer clients to other programs and community agencies to enhance treatment process. Worked with clients who were referred by the Department of Mental Health. I primarily dealt with clients who have mental illness/substance abuse issues. I worked with their Rehab Advocate and I provided an additional treatment plan. Charted and recorded information in clients files. Effectively managed time and caseloads based on (number)sessions per week. Quickly responded to crisis situations when severe and mental health and behavioral issues arose. Efficiently gathered information from families and social service agencies to inform development of treatment plans. Documented all patient information including service plans, treatment reports and progress notes. Conducted outreach, advocacy and rehabilitative services for regular cases and crisis intervention. Collaborated closely with treatment team to appropriately coordinate client care services. Taught clients anger manger management techniques, relaxation skills, impulse control, social skills, emotional coping skills and functional living skills. Organized treatment projects that focused on problem solving skills and creative thinking. Referred clients to other programs and community agencies to enhance treatment process. Guided clients in understanding illness and treatment plans. Led patients in individual and group sessions.

I was employed as a consultant to facilitate a womens 12 step group and administer drug screenings. ECorp owned 5 women sober houses in the Boston/Quincy area.

* Engage in shift change duties, including Med Log shift change & Med Lock-up key exchange.
* Maintain daily Logbook by denoting all incidents, issues, etc.
* Ensure that the program policies are followed and document any deviation of said policies.
* Contact Program Director regarding crisis/emergency situations, and when shift problems arise
i.e. an employee calls in sick leaving a shift open.
I filled in on all shifts . I charted and recorded information in client files. Documented all patient information and dispensed package medication to clients. I transported clients off island to AA/NA meetings and conducted AA/NA meetings when weather did not permit us leaving the island. Taught clients anger management techniques , relaxation skills, social skills, emotional coping skills and functional living skills. Engaged in yoga and meditation classes with clients.
