Provide clinical assessments and comprehensive psycho-socials to families involving diverse issues: Child abuse and neglect -Truancy -Substance abuse -Parent/child conflict Domestic violence -Mental retardation -Intellectual disabilities -Mental illness Assess family needs and strengths to abate risks and enhance capacity for empowerment.
Conduct home and school investigations to assess family's overall functioning.
Treatment Planning and Implementation Develop and implement intervention programs.
Participate in multi-disciplinary team to determine eligibility for special education program.
Identify problems and develop intensive treatment plans and psychosocial assessments.
Develop and review the ISP with elderly waiver recipient.
Clinical Counseling Formulate student groups with focus on skill based instructional training in decreasing aggression.
Facilitate weekly groups that include NA/AA meetings for men in recovery and ex-offenders.
Administer crisis counseling.
Provide individual and family therapy.
Case Management Implement discharge planning.
Develop and maintain case plans for clients to include problem identification and intervention alternatives.
Document individual progress notes and make recommendations for further services.
Oversight of client care.
Coordinate care with direct care providers.
Coordinate documentation for IV-E, Subsidy, Medicaid requests.
Reporting Testify as an expert witness in court proceedings.
Execute court mandated requirements.
Devise comprehensive psychosocial histories to families at risk of child abuse, and neglect, and recovering addicts.
Maintain monthly statistical reports.
Present extensive written legal documents to court, i.e.
adoption reports, status reports.
