I have had a handful of different jobs since I have graduated high school. All of which has given me much experience with customers. I have learned that every business must be focused solely on your customers because without our customers there would be no business. I worked for my uncle's tree service right out of high school for nearly to years. I had to make sure all customers were satisfied. Also my job was to keep track of all employees' hours worked and to make sure everyone was paid the correct amounts. From collecting money from customers to paying it out to our workers, I got some good experience with customer service and cash flow. I chose to leave there for better opportunity. Bug House was my next job that I worked for eight months. The biggest focus again, was our customers. My job was completely based on meeting all of my customers needs. I had to be very productive and motivated to make everyone happy. Also my time schedule was very tight. I learned how to effectively manage my time while meeting all the needs from every customer. From there I returned back to my uncle's company because he needed someone to run the whole company for about five months. Running his business by myself taught me numerous things. It taught me how to manage and budget money effectively to run the company. It also taught me how to bid jobs and learn to sell things. I currently am selling cars at Butler Honda in Milledgeville, GA. Working here is teaching me to be very driven and high performing. I must be self motivated and very product with every aspect of my day or my money doesn't reach my bank account. I have organize and plan out my entire day and be fully committed to every goal I daily set. The car business is very client-focused, they are my main goal to please everyday. Without them, there is no car business. I really enjoy people and making people happy, so customer service is very easy for me.
Managed and ran a business
Trained many new employees for that business
Increased work production
I supervised the company. My job was to manage the crews. I had to keep records of all hours worked and had to keep work flow going at a high production rate. Then I later went on to run the company for nearly five months. So my job was to manage all the money, customers, and employees.
My job was to spray the inside and outside of my customer's home and inspect them thoroughly. This job taught me to manage my time because I had a very tight schedule. Also this job was completely customer-focused so my customer service skills increased greatly.
This job is teaching me many things. My skills in sales are improving every day. My customer service skills are growing more and more. My job is to sell cars and that takes a big set of skills, it is not easy as it may look. You must overcome many objections from just about every customer. It must always be done in a respectful and professional manner. Your people person skills must be good. You cannot be nervous and shy towards people. Confidence is a main trait a sales person must have. I have grown very much in the short three weeks I have been employed here. I learn something new everyday.
