As a missionary I was able to serve, teach and share religious knowledge with people of different backgrounds.
After serving for three months I was made a senior companion was able to open areas where sister missionaries hadn't been allowed in before.
Towards the end of my mission was able to assist my Mission President by traveling trough out my mission and training sister missionaries in effective ways of working with their companions.
Doing this service fro The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints taught me a lot of skills. Leadership, communicating effectively with others, organization, working with companions and in groups, use time and resources in a productive way .
I attended La Serena University for two full years with the plan of becoming a Spanish teacher. I took classes that included Spanish grammar, literature theory, literature, Latin. I was able to do several presentations in front of classmates and professors , gaining very high praise from them.
