My trades include industrial mechanic (Millwright) to structural ironworker, forklift operator, crane and rigging departments as well. The skills needed to do this type of work come from on site training and many years of actual work in that specific trade and completing NCCER certifications.
My achievements are shown through the work I present and how I get it done. All work is done safely and in a timely manner. When a problem presents itself, I'm always the first one to step up and figure out a way to do it, and to get it done with all safety issues in mind. I Trained and mentored many construction workers, general laborers and apprentices. To ensure that neither myself or my co workers get injured. I pride myself in the job I'm given no matter what the task.
I was foreman over the Molly Plant, Filter Building and Surge Bin. I came to be in this position due to the knowledge and experience I have. I'm qualified to Carefully coordinate plans and specs using all the necessary material given to me. I Assigned projects and tasks to employees based on their competencies and specialties. Followed through with competent execution of project plans by providing proper tools and equipment to all construction personnel.
This job I started and completed is now biggest solar power plant in the country right outside Gila Bend, AZ.
I was there to connect all the steel structures and in doing so I was involved with the rigging and crane aspect of the job.
My role there was to Efficiently record and reject incorrect deliveries of material to site. As well as load and off load trailers with the forklift to separate steel that was needed for erection.
Here with PMC I started as a connector and structural ironworker. The company PMC to a liking into my attitude and great work ethic. They kept me around working with them until the job was complete, I felt a great accomplishment with them in building that geothermal power plant.
This was A Demo job involving cutting and removing structural members and piping from the building. Bullrigging and specialized tools (Lance Rods) to cut steel were used.
This was a shutdown. DOW chemical had a strict safety protocol on this job. Due to the severity of the chemicals I had to complete various safety classes, and extensive training.
I was a mechanical helper back then. I helped align pumps, steam turbines, and generators. This is where i made my transition to Journeyman.
During my high school years I was very active in all sports and activities from football, basketball, and track.
