In my personal life I am a fly tyer and also fly fish. I am very active in a veterans organization called Project Healing Waters which centers around fly fishing to heal mental wounds. I grew up fishing in Arizona and on joining the U.S. Coast Guard it has taken me to Alaska to be able to deep sea fish for salmon and halibut. Its more than just fishing for me, it is a way of life and just relaxation and I would like to spread it with others.
