My name is, Josue Santiago Valdez, I'm 20 years old. I would like to inform, to whom it may concern, about my professional background. I have been working hard labor jobs since I was 16. Difficult work is not something that frightens me, on the contrary. I like to do new things with very little help or no help at all. I am a very independent worker, and what I mean by that is I work for my own. I am very precise and try my best regardless if I have to sweep, or if I have to figure a task out on my own. This is where being a stocker/scrapper really comes to play. Being a stocker/scrapper, you see the ''behind the scenes'' movement to job sites. It taught me to be reliable, responsible, and very patient.
Expertise in drywall material and tools. From dense-shield to uni-struts and from drywall blades to chop saws.

My main accomplishment academic wise, would have to be when I was told I will not be able to graduate with my class of 2013. My High School Academic Counselor, along with my College Counselor, said it would be nearly impossible for me to take the 3 summer college classes I needed while attending my High School for summer school. I proved them wrong, graduated with a 2.8 high school GPA, and a 3.4 college GPA.
Stocker/Scrapper July 2014 to November 2015Giampolini & Co. - Emeryville, caGiampolini & Co., is a commercial company that specializes in restoration on buildings, interior/exterior paint projects, and sheet rock and metal framing projects. Here I learned most of the material and its proper uses. I learned about heavy machinery also. For example, I learned how to operate a forklift correctly from start to finish. I learned how to properly organize and strap down loads weight wise. Fifty percent of the time, I was in a warehouse environment, where I learned how to be neat and organized, so that safety hazards may be avoided. I know all about the screws and taping mud used for certain circumstances. What I mean by that is I know what screws will be needed for what and what kind of taping mud they need, whether it be a box of Plus3 or maybe just a bag of 45 minute mix.
Foreman/Logistic January 2014 to July 2014Atticare - Emeryville, CAWorking at, ATTICARE, taught me how to work as a team with large groups of workers. I also learned to drive an E-350 Ford Van with a 10' trailer attatched. I learned how to properly communicate with residential clients and collect payment via tablet. This job really taught me to become completely independent and focus on what has to be done, correctly and in a timely manner.
Education and Training
High School Diploma : 2013LPS Richmond - Richmond, CA, USA
I graduated High School in 2013, while on my second year of college in High School. Meaning that I have had all my General Education done before I actually graduated High School. Sf State, a university that I got accepted into, to study Civil Engineering, was unsuccessful due to the fact that I am a teen parent.
Training wise, I learned the majority of safety hazards that can be avoided when working at your own pace, but still being very focused and productive. I know about OSHA Safety Regulations and how to properly elevator and stair stock without suffering an injury.
