Responsible for Loan Officer file from approval to final approval and funding
Pre-underwrote files for loan submission
Reviewed income documentation for loan qualification
Reviewed asset documentation for accurate down payment and sourcing of large deposits
Reconciled closed loan for our in-house accountant for accurate payroll processing and loan charges
Followed through with all escrow communication, loan officers and office management for daily updates and loan status
Ordered legal loan documents and calculated annual taxes and insurance
Verified all fees charged, calculated APR, verified legal description, APN, and proper loan vesting
•Responsible for Loan Officer's file through Final Approval
•Review file for correct stacking order, AU findings for initial determination and appropriate documentation
•Review Loan Officer's “need list”
•Re-review documentation in file, input any changes into the computer system and re-run for a correct AU Determination
•Submit all files to various banks and or “In House” underwriting department for Credit Approval or make underwriting determination if file is eligible for AU Certified Processor program
•Review conditions when underwriting determination has been completed
•Provide status of file to all parties
•When all conditions are received make any changes necessary to the computer system and resubmit to the AU system and underwriting department for Final Loan Approval and prepare loan for closing
•Reconcile Fee Summary Sheet
•Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
oRead Updates and comply with all Quality Control Policies
oAttend QC meetings as scheduled
oReview all files for DHI Mortgage required checklists
oRespond to all QC write-ups within 10 calendar days
oUtilize my Notary Public License to sign up company loans in a timely manner
•Support California Region in training and development to all Staff within the region
•Reports and communicates with Regional Manager with follow-up training within region
•Follow-up training to reinforce and expand on information covered in New Hire Orientation
•Works closely with all branches within region to ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed
•Support Regional Manager by providing training, processing support and management support within the region as needed
•Provide support to corporate training department and periodically provide instructions at New Hire Orientation classes. Set up New Hire accounts, submitted payroll changes, reviewed and submitted time cards, assisted Operation Manager during the new hire process
•Processed 1st and 2nd Trust Deeds
•Organized and implemented processing procedures
•Pre-underwrote files, gathered all conditions for proper loan submission
•Ordered/followed up on title and appraisals
