I have ten plus years as a producing mortgage loan originator. My expertise is in sales, creative marketing, and relationship building. As an LO I understand that every successful closing begins with a detailed and complete application. That way I can provide my borrowers upfront with a "One Time" specific needs list so the experience with closing is smooth and ever flowing.
My greatest accomplishment year to date in this business has been my ability to "adjust!" In 2003, when I took my first loan application, it was a free for all with limited processing and underwriting requirements. Then in 2007, when private mortgage bankers and brokers took a hit, I was hired on with a community bank to service their lending needs. When this bank went down in 2011 I was hired on by the lending arm of another bank and was an instant producer taking advantage of the lowering interest and this particular banks 50 state platform. Today 2013, my success comes from the constant and steady relationship building over the last ten years. I have loyal referral partners from every walk of life and my business only continues to grow.
Enjoying a busy run with mostly purchase business and some refinances. Since August 2012 to present I have self generated and funded over $6mm in loan volume.
During this time frame I did a lot of out of state lending. My partner created a website for refinances to take advantage of interest rates and we were bringing in 10-20 leads a week from all over the country. So I learned the ropes of "paperless" lending and disclosing. Much different than my past, local, and face to face style.
Facilitate internal client mortgage needs and generate new business. Overall an outstanding experience. A totally different education process working for a federally chartered bank as opposed to a locally owned mortgage banker.
