Have helped led a professional development seminar for the Rock-Hill School District for Quia instruction. In March 2016, will present a seminar at SMLE in Myrtle Beach.

Moved to SC from PA in July of 2006. Began substitute teaching in August for a sixth grade social studies teacher, in October left that position and the next school day began teaching ninth grade social studies. Left that position at the end of the school year and found a permanent position.
Long term substituted for Solanco School District while working for Substitute Teacher Service. My husband was a pilot and was gone frequently. It was easier to substitute teach and take off the days my three girls needed a parent than it was to teach full time. Taught long term positions for P.E for middle school and high school, Language Enrichment Across the Disciplines, ELA teacher and Social Studies.
Taught for two years but had substituted at this school for many years before taking a two year part-time position at this school teaching tenth grade Language Arts and Eleventh grade social studies. Left this school when youngest daughter graduated from this school. This school in 2010 merged with another Christian school and is now known as LCCS.
After receiving Masters from Grand Canyon, I took additional classes for the Plus 30. The 30 hours consisted of GT classes, Science, STEM and Social Studies classes. Since then have completed a course from Global Leadership College for 160 hours in TESOL/TEFL and have passed the ESOL Praxis test.
Attended LeTourneau University and East Texas Baptist University before attending HBU and receiving BS degree In Elem Ed and History.
