Recent graduate from Biola University with a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders. Currently working as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant at Whittier Area Parents' Association for the Developmentally Handicapped (WAPADH) and California High School. Wishing to further my knowledge within this field by enrolling in a graduate program to become a Speech and Language Pathologist.

Work with patients diagnosed with various lifelong disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism, TBI, Down's syndrome and related medical and/or behavioral disorders. Conduct therapy with patients based upon their AAC needs including typing on iPad or letter board, using a communication book and/or board, using devices such as GoTalk, using choice boards and/or white boards, practice speaking, and more. Provide the highest quality of care to patients and their families. Regularly evaluate effects of treatment and adjust to achieve maximum benefit. Maintain organized documentation and patient files. Assist with clerical duties and departmental operations.
Work with high school students who are diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorders, Down's syndrome, fluency disorders, mental disabilities, and Articulation and Phonological processing disorders. Assist in IEP goal development and give professional input determining student progress. Make recommendations to teachers and students' caretakers and families about communicative strategies and devices. Properly document students' progress and continually modify therapy in regards to their goals.
