While working at Culver's I was given the responsibility of running a store throughout the afternoon rush hours. I knew my employees' strengths and weaknesses and appointed them to the proper positions and oversaw the workings of the store. I knew the proper procedures on each position and made sure that each individual followed them accordingly. I was also given the responsibility of closing the store and prepare it for the my coworkers the next morning. In my two years of working there I developed close relationships with my coworkers and learned the definition of collaboration. This greatly assisted me as I worked my way up the chain. I was also given other duties including dealing with customer complaints, restocking specific items regularly, and planning out the next months list of custard flavors tailored to our customer's satisfaction and overall store productivity. My experience at Culver's included managing and training fresh new workers with no previous job experience and as difficult as it could get it taught me patience and how to better understand my employees strengths and weaknesses to maximize store efficiency and to teach them what it means to be a crew member. I can say with great confidence that my experience at Culver's shaped me into a responsible and dedicated worker willing to put in the effort for both myself and others.
