Make repairs to cooling towers, pumps and fan motors as required. Maintain conductivity to condenser water on each tower. Recommend the replacement status when required. Maintain mechanical inventory for each school.
Maintained all accounts with equipment larger than 50 tons. Performed startup on Mammoth package units. Review all documentation on Package chilled water applications, made corrections to schematic drawings as necessary. Troubleshoot, remove and replaced motors and pumps. Troubleshoot all electrical control points on the equipment. Review control sequences for all Belimo actuators.
Designed and performed retrofit of two Mammoth Dx water condensed systems, to accommodate two circuits of Turbocor compressors. Designed the pipe diagram and the oil separator for the Turbocor compressors. Redesigned the condenser section to accommodate a condenser vessel and pump for each circuit. Designed the electrical schematic and start-up sequence for each circuit. Performed start-up on all Turbocor retrofits prior to actual certified Turbocor representatives arrival.
Managed seven residential technicians, set schedules and provided technical assistance to all technicians. Approved weekly payroll for the service department. Provided installation quotes for customers. In charge of the hiring process, and the termination of employees. Resigned prior to the end of the contract, due to breach of contract by the owner.
Performed maintenance on rooftop dx systems, Voyager package unit training. Tracer controls training. Repaired or replaced bearings on 15 hp motors and above. Performed typical start-up procedures on York Millennium chillers prior to York factory Technicians. Performed start-up on CRAC units for data rooms.
Routinely inspected machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Wrote up all repairs and quoted work for customers approval. Repaired and replaced all parts on roof top ac units. Maintained condenser vessels, performed yearly tube inspections including performing 5 year Eddy Current test as necessary.
Tested machinery, equipment and parts to identify any defects on 25 ton mobile ac equipment (Ace air conditioners). Tested and repaired mobile generators, heaters, liquid nitrogen carts, verity of diesel engines. Processed equipment for transfer to combat zones in theaters all over the world.
