A servant's heart with a passion for honoring God through excellence in every aspect of life.
In the electrical field, a focus on both employer and customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest levels of quality workmanship and Godly integrity.
Skilled with diagnosis, repair, and installation in both residential and commercial environments, currently specializing in residential customer service, remodel work, and trouble-shooting.
Able to teach, mentor, and motivate personnel to perform a high level of workmanship while being cost effective.
Worked in a multitude of environments, including the extremely fast-paced industry of home-building in Las Vegas, leading to extensive experience and strong managerial, time-management and communication skills.
A electrician who actually derives joy from this field of work.
A missionary at heart.
I have extensive experience in many areas of electrical work in my twenty years as an electrician, but my best accomplishments are:
Labeling my panels with my name as a testimony of giving my best to God in my work.
Volunteering my time to do the electrical and help complete Red Hills Southern Baptist Church, Enoch, Utah.
Volunteering my time as an electrician at a variety of churches over the years.
Doing the electrical work as a love-gift for my in-law's (and spiritual mentors) home that they waited forty-some years to build.
Finding out the needs of family, friends, and others and being able to perform or teach their electrical needs.
Using my trade as more than an opportunity for a paycheck, but rather a mission field, both on and off the job.
Perform numerous service calls daily involving many types of customer inquiries from warranty work on new construction to service upgrades on older properties to trouble-shooting at all levels.
(I worked for Joe Kilowatt while attending seminary and ten months after returning to Missouri, Joe Kilowatt had an opening and was able to rehire me.)
All aspects of residential wiring from rough-in to finish, including numerous remodel projects. Commercial work including tenant improvements, new construction, and service upgrades.
Organized and loaded trucks for daily sales routes. Ran daily and weekly reports to ensure proper inventory was maintained in freezer. Daily inspection and maintenance of delivery trucks. Trained new employees in proper techniques of loading trucks. (The construction field was not profitable, thus causing me to find work that could support my family as I was a full-time volunteer youth pastor.)
IMPACT: Impassioned Ministry Preparation According to Christ's Teaching
To be IMPACTed by Christ and our church family while IMPACTing our families, church family, schools, community, and our world.
That was the focus that God burdened our hearts with - to prepare the students for ministry as teens and for the future (we are all called) - the Bible as our standard and Christ as our example.
This was accomplished through: Wednesday night worship and preaching, Sunday Bible study, praise team, Bible teaching, prayer, Scripture memorization, missions/acts of service, purposeful fun, and evangelizing. Occasional events: Mission trips - out of state and local community, combined youth/parent events, camp, retreats, VBS, and group fund-raisers.
All aspects of residential electrical work including new construction, remodel, service upgrades, and customer service.
Completed the courses required in 2011 to graduate but have not walked.
